I'd suggest the Vypyr 30 over the 15, if you have a choice between the two.
Also, depending on what you need in a practice amp, don't count the Vypyr Tube models out! They sound great...even at really low volume! And you can catch a good deal on a lightly used one fairly often online.
I've got a VYPYR Tube 120 in my home office and I can attest, while it could probably move enough air to break all the windows in the room at full volume, it still sounds better than my solid-state Peavey 212 at "don't disturb the person sleeping in the other room" volume levels!
If I hadn't scored such a deal on the Tube 120, I would certainly have gone for the lighter-weight 1x12 Tube 60! The 60 is a great balance of size vs. power without compromising features!
You really can't go wrong with any of the Vypyr series, though! Good luck!
