well I have a Pearly Gates and when I ask the opposite question, they tell me the JB.

So for you, a Pearly Gates. Or maybe a 59/custom or Screaming Demon.

I put the A2P in the bridge and took out the JB and I absolutely LOVE IT!!! The A2P is warm and smooth with a softer brightness,nice mids and the bottom end sounds really nice in my LP. It's not flubby at all very nice bass response...When the amp pushes the A2P it sounds fantastic plays nice blues/harder blues/classic rock and even gets into some metal. I think this is a very nice versatile pickup.When I turn gain down and push volume up it can get a nice AC/DC crunch. I'm so glad I made the decision to go with this p/u. Lower output pickup much, much better for my style. Nice P.A.F tone, its open and airy.
