I've always loved the look of Gecko basses. They have an interesting body shape and the gecko inlay rocks!
One thing I dislike is the lack of fret markers other than the Gecko. I get lost without them...
So, I've been thinking that I could get the Warmoth neck and then send it to a luthier like JohnJohn to have inlays added at the usual frets.
However, I cant think of a good design... I've thought gecko footprints (a bit clichéd and silly) and random foliage (eg: tree branch, leaves, etc).
Any ideas? It has to be something that can fit in each fret, not something that extends over several. It would be for frets 3,5,7,9. I'd prefer it to be something that links with the gecko, so not just initials or something.
