My god what kind of super huge hands do you all have.

My favorite sizes for guitar necks are in the .80" at the 1st and .90" at the 12th.

FWIW my MiM Strat's C-shape neck is too thick for me to be able to play it for more than a few minutes. Actually it hampered my playing for many years as my hand would tire too fast and I couldn't play for longer sessions than a 10-15 minutes at a time without long breaks...

Now I finally feel at home...

I like the Warmoth standard thin profile. I've got two of them with a 1-11/16" nut and I think they're really comfortable. Nowhere near as thin as the neck on my 2006 Ibanez RGA121. I'd say the Warmoth standard thin is in the same ballpark as most modern Strats...

No, its noticeably thinner than an American standard. I think What threw me off is that one of my Warmoth Std. thin has probably been sanded.
I do have one real nice mint Warmoth Std. neck, and its pretty thin thinner by a good measure than a Fender C shape, which is in turn quite a bit thinner than an old Strat ( w/o refret).
I would say one of the guys replies here is right- its like a Jackson neck, which is about as thin as I wanna go.
No experience here with Wizard necks, not by bag, but I can tell you this much;
The old Starts in original condition are pretty dang meaty..think '59.
I don't like the profile of the Boatneck, and absolutely abwhore a thin U.
YMMV significantly.
