Can anyonewood dudes confirm that it is basswood? the washburn website states 'solid wood'...but the seller says basswood......whats your best guess?

Dude, don't buy that.

Musician's Friend has that same guitar for $240, not $400. You'd seriously get ripped off.

It also comes in black.
