My local shop is very generous. My dad bought his strat on time and even took it home just on a small down payment. Same with the POD x3 live he bought from them. We've been buying from them practically since they opened so maybe it was just because they trusted him enough to take it home on just the payment... Anyway I'm glad they weren't trying to sell it out from under you! I've had that happen a few times. It's not enjoyable...

He'll just let me take any pedal home to try it out, even when I'm not barely looking to buy one!

It's just that, I don't find amazing deals in there much. They know what everything is.

On the other hand, that's where every guitar I've bought and both amps came from.
