This soldering station is variable 5-80 watts controlled but the ad says for hobbyist/stained glass. Does anyone know if this can be used for electronics as well? Thanks.

No Idea but I've got a Weller WSD81 85watts and it's the best Soldering iron Ever!...Variable temperatures and everything.

Yup, the WLC200 can be used for electronics. Although you could get the WLC100 and save a little bit. That's what I have and I use it for everything from wiring up guitars to DIY circuits to pedal mods to fixing my daughter's play necklaces with cut leads (works good, she doesn't care...lol).
