What am I doing wrong.

I wonder if anyone can solve this mystery for me. I am changing my stratocaster to HSH configuration, the pickups are new and before I installed them I checked them with multimeter. They all read fine.When installed I soldered the hot wires to switch,now comes the mystery for me,when I try to ground any of them to volume pot or any other pot I get a reading of zero on all pickups.can you tell me what this 72 year old is doing wrong.

are these new pots? what brand of pups? 4 cond or braided shield? can you post a detailed picture of the wiring?

I think somewhere you've accidentally got the hot connected where it shouldn't be.
