What amp are you playing today?

Well, that particular half stack was used a ton in that scene, mostly because it was fairly cheap at the time. It is a SS head and 4x12 cab that was loud. I got it at the time because I loved the clean sound...and it was cheap for a 13 year old.

A good clean sound it the foundation for a good death metal sound.

The Marshall Mode Four is cranking out the goods.

I got the Classic 20h back from the shop, nice to have it home. Don't let the tweed fool you, this amp grinds!

I miss mine I should have never sold it.

I am constantly searching for another one at the right price/condition. I'd like a head. They also make a 2x12. I have the 1x12.

By the way - is that Source Audio EQ2 I see on the floor. I'm always looking at those...

Yep, I love the SA stuff. The UX is very simple, and having 4 presets is perfect for my needs. The new version is super powerful, but for $99 this has more than enough functionality for me.

I GAS hard for the EQ2 - but that's a V1 you have. I'm not an EQ guy, so it would likely be more than enough for me. Prices are significantly better than the EQ2!
- Flat Boost
- Solo Boost with mids
- Scoop Mids
- Bass cut

I'd be good.

I paid $225 for my 100/60 1x12, the tolex was in bad shape but some Crazy Glue and a $19 vinyl repair kit from Pep Boys got it looking pretty good.

I play a Roland Cube 30 everyday...It's my "next to my desk" office amp. On JC clean right now, but Recto, Classic Stack, and Blackface get a lot of play too.

This is how I rock the 40 generally.

The coolest thing about this amp is the built in looper.

the built in tuner is sweet as well

thats what I like about the Blackstar in lieu of the Cube I have
my poor old Cube30 aint got no Tuner or looper

the Blackstar will let me Bluetooth a drum loop to practice with
