What amp are you playing today?

Princeton RI with a 12" cone, a Jensen C12Q at the moment but I'm restoring a ripped cone Weber alnico Sig 12 A S of a friend of mine, I think I'll give it a try

this beast. trainwreck express clone with mercury magnetics trannys and nos glass. loudest 45w amp ive ever played. ill eventually put a wood veneer over the chassis to complete the look. itll be running through a 1x12 loaded with an eminance maverick dialed all the way down and ill get the baffle of shame.

the top looks cool too. amp chassis built by myself and a friend, the head cab built by another friend.

My Hot Rod Deluxe is in the closet (for now). Lately, I've been using my 2003 Line 6 Flextone III Plus. I also use the 1x12 ext. cab. I use it on the Plexi Lead 100 amp setting with the Marshall 4x12 cab with Vintage 30s cabinet setting. Does it sound like a Plexi through a 4x12 cabinet with Vintage 30s? No..... But it sounds great to me. Since I'm doing more Prog and Fusion stuff, that amp suits me better than the Hot Rod Deluxe.

My acoustic went (stereo) into a pair of QSC K8.2 PA speakers tonight. Each one is 2000 watts, and they were really cranked. I used a Line 6 M9 pedal for compression and reverb.

90% of the time it's a Spark Go set on a Marshall style emulation, or a Boss Katana on the brown setting.

When I get to play real amps, I use my Friedman modded JCM 800 2204 (Jake E Lee inspired), or my Egnater Seminar amp, which is a Friedman Brown Eye clone with some Orange inspired tone stack tweaks.

Also a Peavey JSX at one of the practice spaces.
