Well, that particular half stack was used a ton in that scene, mostly because it was fairly cheap at the time. It is a SS head and 4x12 cab that was loud. I got it at the time because I loved the clean sound...and it was cheap for a 13 year old.

I run my gx100, with about 10 or 12 amps thru my gen 3 katana artist combo.

Lately I've been playing on my Marshall presets.

Today, I was using a Line 6 Catalyst 100 that is in my teaching room. I used it for rehearsal, too. It has lots of settings you can only get to via USB, and the editor (PC or iOS) is buggy as hell. You essentially come up with the sound, try to save it, and it doesn't save. So it is a PITA to use. Not the Katana by a long shot.

I rarely post in this thread because the answer would be "my Bogner Twin Jet" basically every day, but recently I've really been enjoying what channel 1 of that monster dishes out. While the lesser compression compared to channel 2 means it doesn't quite sound as great on sustained pinch harmonics, it's just *so* fat on chords and tremolo picked lead stuff.
