You know, I was just thinking about what absolutely horrible and lousy tone this band has the other day... I think that's part of the reason why I love them.

Phish, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, The Doors, The Who, many others that cant come to mind, and NOT!!!!!!!!!! Aerosmith!

For nice Tele tones...

I think Tim McGraw's band, on his Set This Circus Down, has great tone.

I know his guitarists use G&L ASATs and Seymour Duncan, so they're obviously off to a good start...

Haven't heard the other albums, but I imagine they'd have a pretty consistent tone.

Thrice, on their album: The Illusion of Safety. Best heavy tone I've ever heard (And I've heard quite some). Especially on the song: To Awake & Avenge the Dead.

GnR, Aerosmith, EVH, Bon Jovi. There are so many tones i like. I think the Anthrax tone on their latest album is good. Vai and Satch had a great live tone aswell.

Rubber band has the best tone. You can stretch it almost without a limit and there is a nice, soft jazzy "BOIIIING" sound after you release. Also, you can fire stones, little animals or fellow musicians into the audience. Cute.

Queen and Aerosmith are up there, i cant think of a song where i dont love the tone!

Bon Jovi too...Richie's tones are awesome, all of them!
