When you split the C/59 hybrid, which coil did you split to?

I split the slug one and it is medium-good in position 1, very fendery in position 2, the other coil near the bridge is too bright for my taste.

I forgot to say my cc/59 had the Custom coil as slug coil. Now that I have a full CC I still use that coil.

Just having a look at DiMarzio site, the eq described for the PAF 36th anniversary seems interesting, T. 5.0 M. 6.5 B. 6.0.
Compared to an Air Classic, a pickup I know that is described there as T. 5.5 M. 4.5 B. 6.0, it seems to be a good candidate, even if it mounts an A5.
Does anybody tried it? any impression?
