That's as good as an open circuit. I'd look for a broken wire to or from the coil.

No telling where something might have gone wrong. Is there a reason you potted it?
That'd be the resistance of your base plate beteen the two solder lugs.I was using my fingers to maintain a connection on the wires so my body was included in the resistance reading. The actual reading is 11.3 meg ohm which still doesn't do me any good.
Yeah.......I see a visible break.that should be fine, i usually keep mine around 155. bad readings at the solder lugs? no visible break?
If it isn't a break it could be a short circuit if the insulation got burned through. Which is still not really helpful to state, but you can fix a break; I have.
(Ignore the tape- held up for ten years that way though!)

For a break in the coil wire, is it as simple as just unwinding a turn and twisting them together like that?
How to strip the coating off the wind wire- solvent or heat? Or some other method?
