I don't want to start anything, but I'd like proof as well. I don't think even a prodigy could play all that at 11 months. Wan't proof? DeminisheD-7th. Prodigy. Could he play all that at 11 months? I heavily doubt it. I don't think 11 months is enough time for your ears to develop fully, or enough time to fully understand the theory that is required to play such songs.

i think if you read this whole thread through you will find that several acusations have been made towards the validity of guykawkas clames.
i came to the conclution that when he sais he can "play" the songs, it means he can play them from a tab at very slow speed, reading each note and then plaing it! :laugh2:

hmm, perhaps it is a case that guykawka truly believes he can play all of these songs and that he infact has a medical condition! in which case we should not hold his boasts against him, but help and nurture him!

Thast the only way i can unerstand that someone could do that..Buti have to say im very skeptical about him that he can play this stuff to near full speed..I think of him kinda in the way i do Jesus and God, unless i see (or in this case hear) it i wont believe it..:laugh2:

lol ok you have every can choose not to beleive but I'm telling you I will sometime soon post a video clip or a demo I don't know. It will be something like Speed Lives/No Boundries or Black Star. I don't need to prove anything to anyone but myself and if I were you I wouldn't beleive GuyKawka but fine, maybe soon as I said I will post a clip. See you, and btw it depends on the song. Like No Boundries I play almost all of the song at full speed and same as Black Star but a song such as Flight of the Bumblebee or Eugene's trick bag I play at about 1/2-3/4 speed, I didn't say I could play everything at full speed, or the same thing with the arpeggios in Altitudes I play them at about half speed. W.e.

and i think black star would be a great clip! its in the hunderead greatest guitar solos so it is one of his best! just out of interest do you play the rhythem or the lead :laugh2: !!! oooow thats just crule! im sorry again

Nah I think I'll go with No Boundries/Speed Lives, its more fun to play, I was just learning it today, I learned almost everything except for the Arpeggios Theme, I only played the beginning of the Arpeggio Theme cause its pretty fast but anyways I've seen the vid does he play the Arpeggios Theme in sweeps or in alternate picking?

nah, but its easy to deduce weather its swept or picked, if you want you can just change the fingering to suit whichever you prefer.
(as a rough guide sweep picking tends to favour 1 note per string, alternate 2 or more)

Oh ok, thanks, shred me. I already made a clip of the first half now, but since its 2 oclock you can barely hear anything since I played it unpluged. Maybe later I'll post it plugged in.
