What do you guys think about this new Squier axe?

For a squier i think it looks great! I love the old p-bass design so this looks great! is that a bridge strat pup or have they just make it look like one?

Anyone tried it?

i like the classic touch on it. very tele-bass! if i am not mistaken, sting's signature bass looks something like this.

To me it sure looks alot like an old Kramer model that was an Elliot Easton (lead guitarist for The Cars) signature model.

I don't much care for it... but... I may look into getting it... it's pretty unique... where have I seen that before? hmm....
actually... what I'm waiting for is a reissue of the 51' p-bass...
from squier...
for a lot less than the fender ones...

I think it looks great, but then again, ive always liked the old pbass looks almost as much as i like the newer look.

actually... I looked into it... it's wired witha concentric knob with a 3-way rotary selector and tone and a push-pull tap for the HB on the volume knob.... that's rediculous for a squier.

Looks like they took a Strat and put it through the Ugly machine.

I love those!!! If you're in S. Texas, and you stop in a mom and pop shop, you're likely to see a Robin guitar, which looks exactly like that, but with better finishes and loads of pickup options. http://robinguitars.com/ check 'em out. the guitar in question is the Ranger.

I've got one, I'm telling you this guitar is voodoo magic!

It's got a tone you've never heard, crunchy, sweet & soaring, it has a fender fingerprint with some gibson soul.

I love it's look, its feel, its playability, and of course it's sound, its just got so much heart.

I'm in love!

If you like fenders its' hard to imagine that you could not find a use for this guitar in your arsenal. Do yourself a favor and go try one out, for 149 & change they are basically giving these things away, its unbelievable!

Dont be a snob, go try one, wear a disguise if you cant be seen with a squier!
