man i've seen a handful of LPs with floyds on them but it just looks so odd every time i do...i love the finish on that one though, very cool!

as for the amp...why on earth did they have to make the amp in the color of my copper LP (in avatar)...now i gotta consider buying one to match the guitar hahahahaha J/K but it dfoes look kinda cool!

WOW!!!! A Gibson and Soldano co-engineered amp... I bet you that sounds as good as it looks :32:

The Neil Schon LP looks great as well. Atleast it's different than other LPs besides the paint job.

:32: that amp is godly, gonna be pricey though, and the guitars is amazing!,
but.....this might be a stupid question, who's Neil Schon?

Way before your time, he`s the guitar player for Journey.

I don`t get it, I see it just fine.

Re: What Gibson didn`t want people to see, unless you were an invitee

i'm sorry... but the cab of the amp just looks frickin UGLY
and a gibson with any kind of trem besides a bigsby is just wrong .. so is a HSH gibby ...

gibsons are HH stoptail bridge guitars and nothing else!!! dont make them into something they're not!

Funny how the knobs are in the configuration that PRS used on the Singlecuts ....

And wasn't Schon using heavily modified PRS singlecuts for a while? ie. Floyd and Sustainer etc etc

Yeah that is same as the SC setup. Do I smell a PRS retaliation. :laugh2:

That amp looks very interesting. Hopefully it'll be better than the Yamaha/Soldano collaboration. It's also good to see Gibson making new amps, instead of just repackaging old trace elliot designs.

Re: What Gibson didn`t want people to see, unless you were an invitee

That is a really odd looking instrument to me. I've seen LPs with Kahlers on them, but it seems like that would lose an awful lot of Les Paul tone due to the routing that they'd have to do. Does anyone remember those SGs from the early 90's that had Floyds installed?

Re: What Gibson didn`t want people to see, unless you were an invitee

Can anyone find any pictures of Neil's gear? I remember seeing a picture in a guitar mag with all his guitars and amps lined up. He's got a boatload!
