My 2021 Fender Player Strat. I started out on a Strat then discovered I love the Les Paul, but I'm trying to play the guitars I have. Putting a PATB-1 in the bridge gave it so much tonal versatility that it deserves more attention.

I had the same thing
Once I got a Gibson scale I just fell in love with it.
Now i have several of each scale

I love my Gibsons but get frustrated when reaching for a fret that is not there. I have certain songs that require 24 frets. Yeah, I could get around it, but why?

I wonder if a neck pickup could be developed that lives under the right spot on a 28 fret fretboard so you get the best of both worlds.
