PRS guitars are for rich guys/beginners who have nothing better to do with thier money. They also make nice wall decorations. Real Players play Fender Strats, Gibson Les Pauls, Jackson, Ibanez...

We have A/B'd them at Guitar Center and no one could hear the difference plugged into a Marshall Stack.

This is also why Clapton prefers to play a Fender over a Gibson!

Clapton can afford to play any guitar he wants. He plays Fenders because quite simply, they play and sound better than Gibsons. "That's the Truth, and nothing but the Truth".

With all this great logic I can see why PRS gets such great marks in your book!

I have played the best guitars in the world including Gibson, Fender, Jackson, ESP, Martin. There is no jealousy on this end. PRS guitars are lovely looking guitars, but are overpriced, and do compare in tone to the brands I have mentioned. I am just stating the truth, and nothing but the truth.:smokin:

I personally just think PRS guitars feel really funny, like the neck is too short, or the frets too thin, or the neck tapers waaay too much.

Then wouldn't it stand to reason by said logic that a PRS sounds the same as a Les Paul? It has two buckers...PLUS mahogany and maple!

BUT honestly a PRS is not SUPPOSED to sound like a Les Paul, they are supposed to sound like a PRS.
