What if I wanted a Mesa or similar amp? Help a bro out.

The Rectoverb isn't even listed on the Voodoo site, much less listed with a "No mod available" marking next to it. I'll put an email in to them.

Say I get a single recto or a 50 watt rectoverb, I would probably need a hotplate to get heavy gain at apartment level, right?
Wrong! The 50W Recto's sound great at low volumes and even better as the output knob rolls higher.

I was leaning toward the F-50 or 100 because of the great reviews it has been getting on it's clean channel. How are the recto's cleans?
The F series amps are great - but I do think that a Rectifier would be better for you. They do have great cleans for high gain amplifiers. They particularly love bright guitars.

I may be late, but I give another vote to the Rectoverb (series 2)! I've had mine for about 2 months now, and I can't find anything it can't do! I stay away from the modern voicing, sounds like bees in a jar or something of the like horribleness...

But the clean is SUPERB! With the little '59N, you should get some great clean tones, as well as some incredible high gain tones too. The raw channel is great for lighter, milder overdrive, and the vintage gain is not at all vintage (although you can certainly get a vintage vibe from it).

The EQ is ultra ultra flexible, and the stock reverb isn't that bad either!

Also EL34/6L6 swappable.

EDIT:

Didn't get to see Guitarist's post before I posted mine, but +1 to everything he said!
