What is a 90's CIJ Antigua finish tele worth

After seeing this finish on one of the strats in the strat threads I love it. The tele is in pretty good condition, no major chips or dings. I don't know much about the made in Japan stuff, what's a good price for one of them?

Anyone? I know I could look at other CIJ teles but this seems to be a rare finish so I don't how much it jacks up the price if any?

I think its a finish you either love or hate, not sure if it drastically effects the price. Generally CIJ guitars are well made and good value for money.

The Strat you are refering to is mine it's a 2003, the tele you're looking at is from the 90's. im not sure if they made a tele in this finish when they did this reissue. I know they made it back in the 70's (or 50's) as they made all of their products in this finish at one point or another. for instance, check the SNL Cowbell skit, the P-bass Horatio Sanz is playing is Antigua.

I saw the tele you're looking at. I'd go for it if you like teles. Buy it and you and I will start a SD Fender Antigua Club!!!

I paid $500 (USD used for mine.

I love that finish. We had an (older, I think) Antigua JAzz Bass come through our shop once and I just drooled and drooled over it.

I had never seen this finish before I saw your strat, I love it on the strat, but I like it even more on a tele. I've got an MIM tele already but I like this finish a lot and I've got a little extra cash laying around. I was thinking I probably don't want to go over $500.

The bid is up to $530 plus shipping with an hour left, I really didn't want to go over $500. Is $600 still a good price for this one? How often do these things pop up?
