Pretty much what he said! Actually, the Broadkaster was a line of Gretsch DRUMS, of all things, that it threw a hissy fit over. The Fender model was changed to "telecaster", but a few guitars were made in the interim bearing no model name - and these are known as "nocasters". They are REALLY rare, and very valuable!
EDIT - Sorry, ORIGINAL nocasters from the 50s are very rare and expensive. The Fender stie is, it would seem, doing reissues.
