My drummer had one once, and at a party we ran it through the PA and that would be all you could hear. :smack:

My true-bypass buffer. It's a unity-gain voltage follower that's completely transparent to your tone. It requires no batteries or bulky power supplies. The pedal is housed in a rugged steel enclosure and is completely handmade in the USA.

+1. I plan on getting a ring thing by EHX because I feel that it fits my style. to me though, an overdrive pedal is useless because I never use the damn thing

The pitch shift mode is surprisingly cool on that thing. Nothing like I expected.

i think overdrive is uselss and that goes double for distortion!

Depends on your view of things. If you're a traditionalist then you probably will find no joy or use for things like circuit bent toys and stuff like that. I'm really starting to get drawn into that kind of stuff. I'm considering eventually getting a Devi Ever Eye of God and Bit Mangler for kicks and discovering new cool sounds. Obviously, I'm also planning on coming up with some crazy circuit bent DIY stuff with my brother.

That said, I had a Moog ring mod and once you moved away from the robot noises it was the coolest tremolo I've ever used.

I disagree that the signal pad (assuming its just a passive volume control with a switch) is useless always wanted something that would roll back my volume to a cleaner level everytime I switched on it (the opposite of a boost).
