What is the sexiest, vibeiest guitar shape ever?

Re: What is the sexiest, vibeiest guitar shape ever?

In general, the Fender Stratocaster and such bodies have the nicest looks, at least to me. I prefer the countoured look / feel. The most mojo guitar I've ever seen, however, is the Fender Duosonic. A friend of mine has one. The Jazzmaster and Mustang shapes also appeal to me. I just prefer contours: I like a massive bodied guitar so long as the body doesn't get in the way.

I've also decided that the non-reverse firebird body shape could prevail over all....

SG. Anyone who says Strat needs their head checked.

Unless it's an Antigua Strat.

Minarik lotus...best take on an LP I've ever seen

For me, it's an SG. However, "V's" and Explorers come pretty close

I'd have to agree with everybody who has said Telecasters. Especially Prince's Hohner Telecaster. How much more sexy can you get than a leopard print pickguard?

Gibson RD, by far <3

Does anyone make that shape anymore? Saw a custom ESP on ebay but that's about it. Not sure if I'd make proper use of the onboard electronics but the shape is nice.

Iceman, Mockingbird, Phantom, ES335, LP, Reverse Firebird also.

I've never seen a brand aside from Gibson or ESP who makes them. I'm not really sure how willing ESP is to do customs in that shape since it is Gibsons, but as Gibson doesn't make them (and hasn't in ages) they would probably do it but it'd be easier and cheaper than getting it through Gibson. Of course you could get a used one but those are 1000+ because for some reason now everyone wants one :laugh2: They are cool though, 24 frets + maple fretboard = win
