In a Les Paul the Custom 5.

In darker guitars such as my Explorer I didn't find anything to beat the Gibson 500T. But then, I went through less bridge pickups on that one.

3. Whatever Fender's using for their CS 51 Nocaster.

The Custom 5 is really tough to beat, for A5 humbuckers. I've got about 4 of them. Everything from the Jazz Bridge, 59B, Brobucker, and Custom 5 really hit the nail on the head for Alnico 5 humbuckers. I put them in sequence of output.

Besides that, for other magnets, the Custom, Seth Lover, and 78 rule.
