What neck pickup for a PATB-1B?

Hi gents (and the few ladies we have here),

I'm going to get a PATB-1 (which some have described similar to a C5/CC tone) for a D standard/Drop C guitar. I'll mostly be playing Baroness/Mastodon/Sludge/anything D-Drop C with high gain. Based off what I've read, it seems like a Screamin Demon, PATB-1N, Distortion are some good options. I already have a sentient neck in another guitar, so I'd like to avoid it. I'm open to any other duncan pickups as well.

Guitar specs as follows:

Limba Body
Indian Rosewood Neck
Ebony board
Jumbo frets
Set Neck
24.75" scale
String through

Amp will be a clean "fender" tone (Gibson GA 75) going into a Okko Dominator v2 (Marshall based High Gain Pedal).

Congrats, Mister, you have a nice looking thing with you.
I support the PATb1n to get a clear and round neck tone. Any particualar reason why you made a rosewood neck instead of the classic limba neck?

Re: What neck pickup for a PATB-1B?

I wanted to change up the flavor of the moderne instead of making it a direct clone. I've had IRW/Ebony necks in the past. You really can't get a better feel for necks than oiled rosewood. It's a pleasure to play. I'd say that was 75% of the reason why, the other 25% was to "firm up the low end". At least on paper. *The guitar will be finished and delivered around the end of Jan. I'll be assembling it and doing the setup.

I've had good experiences with IRW/Ebony with white pine in a telecaster. That guitar twanged like no other. I regret selling it.
