I'm a big fan of the PG set in a LP. It has good output with wonderful cleans and a lot of air in the sound that I missed when I had a JB/59 set. I like the CC a lot also in thin sounding guitars. I thoughyt the JB with an Alnico II magnet was interesting as well.

Hey Lou....I'm getting ready to take the Duncan Designed Distortion set out of my Hamer. He can have those if he want's to try something different. I actually dig the bridge, so I traded for a real Distortion, but the Duncan Designed really isn't bad. That might be a cool match with the 59.
***edit*** I forgot to say that I'm not crazy about the neck, but that's just me. About the only neck pup I really like is the APH. He could have the set, both pups.
Sweet lou, I have a pearly gates bridge if you are interested. I replaced the pearly gates with a CC in my Ibanez LP. The pearly gates was nice but, The CC blew me away!!!! It was what I was looking for.
