What was the Ibanez model??

A couple of years ago, Ibanez brought back the 550 20th anniv. The next year or so, they brought back another model that was lazer blue, had a bucker and a single coil and blue dots on the board. What model was that and were they any good? I love the look of them, but played 2 and one was a good player and the other felt like balsa wood and was not thrilling.

I think its the RG3XXV
a guy I know is absolutely in love with those, he owns 4 of them, 3 red and 1 blue

Is it this? They did a red one too. Its an RG465. The 565 was made in Japan.

It's RG3XXV in lazer blue and candy apple. I have the one in blue. The neck is absolutely designated for speed but it's too thin if your hand is big the edge of the fretboard is kinda poking your palm.

That would be the exact shredstick I would want. Blue, maple neck, h/s and the pretty ibanez head orientation. Very nice.
If it comes neck thru and 7 string, im hooked baby

Yeah, this just screams 80's shred to me! Alot of the guys in the bands had models that werent readily avail to the public. They had the upside down headstock and diff pup configs and stuff. I figured it was cuz of endorsements or maybe the models were avail only in other countries or something. But I really dig this one.

Wanted one of those back in the day. It's fun to see them re-release the shredders. Fun guitars.

i have the rg1xxv and it's pretty nice. the one you're talking about here was reissued as the rg3xxv and they weren't as good imo. they didn't feel or sound nearly as good as the rg1.
