I've tried a lot of kewl stuff (e.g., Bogner, Diezel) but nothing that makes me want to dump my current stable (Rivera Rake, Soldano Decatone and Peters 3CP1). I think the XTC is pretty cool but not to the tune of 3x the Rivera (my current #1). I plan to unload my Koch this fall but the proceeds will probably go towards my second Driskill (currently on order).

Since my current stuff covers the Fender/Marshall/Hiwatt thing pretty well and I'm not into "modern high gain", about the only thing I can think of would be a Fuchs or Two Rock to add a Dumble-esque amp to my tonal palette. I wish I had the time to do a homebrewed amp. I've been kicking around some ideas that I'd like to try out.

Not sure but my next serious amp purchase will be...serious hehe. Bogner esque price and quality etc. Guess it all depends on sound though. If I find something cheaper that I love well I go with that. What I'm trying to avoid is spending mid amounts of money on mid range quality stuff and then wanting better later. My gear is good enoug now where I can just save for teh better.

Apparently it was '04 that I had the Triamp :D I ended up skipping over the Suhr and Demeter to get my Bogner.

Now, what's my next amp?

I don't think there will be one; it'd take one heck of an amp to surpass what I have now.

A Two Rock Custom Reverb Signature..........seriously. It might take a LOOOOOOOOOng while but I will have one.

My "dream rig" is my own Twin Reverb, then a Vox AC30, then a 2x12 Marshall of some sort. However, after listening to the Soldano or whatever other amps that the one dude who was giving out free CDs had, I like them too. Also, the Matchless Chieftans that Third Day uses sound spectacular as well.

I went a bit off track, but not by much.

Out went the Vibrolux, and in came a Victoria Double Deluxe.

Meanwhile, I'd managed to trade my Mesa Blue Angel back into the fold.

None of the amps I wanted back then were bad, but I've played a lot of very nice amps since then.

On the wishlish these days:

65 London, marquee or Royal Albert
/13 FTR37
Headstrong verbovibe
...and I'm holding out the possibility of a bogner. I've got to try one first. but I just found out a friend of a friend has two...

Jeff Seal is one of the greatest amp technicians, who is also a very good guitar slinger.

more than likely a V16 Crate Palomino. I don't really need an new amp now.
I have a cube 60 which i love and is great for playing alone in my dorm and the occasional (but rare) jam. But when (or if) i get a band rolling and funds permit i will make the jump for the amp.

Another Bruce Zinky beastie is a shure bet!
Another Fender Prosonic head or a Tonemaster head is most likely.
But if I can afford it I will go up to a Mofo/ Superfly or Blue Velvet REAL Zinky.

I want an Engl Powerball with some kind of cab which I don't know yet. I was thinking about VHT Ultralead which is very cool too but the Engl won me and not only because of the price. I like that particular kind of distortion this amp produces.

Edit: Haha, I just saw posts 64 and 73. Never mind, it goes to the original question with a 3-year delay. :P
