Re: what will be your next amp??

Wasn't here in 2004 so I'm diving in now. Are you saying that I should be :banned:from posting a wish list because I wasn't here for the first round in 2004?

Naah! This wasn't my thread to begin with, so I should just shuddup. I was just curious if anyone actually followed through on their planned purchases. Perhaps I should've started my own thread.

Re: what will be your next amp??

I am very content with my Mesa F-50.. If I should get another amp, that would be a smaller one to haul around for the occasional event, and rather leave the F-50 safe at home.

Re: what will be your next amp??

No no no no no.

Guys, I'm just asking if anyone who posted in the original thread -- this thread started way back in 2004 -- ended up following through on what they expected to be their next amp purchase.

Well, I guess that once you've awakened the beast there's no turning back.

Has this smilie ever been more appropriate?

Re: what will be your next amp??

i'm having a serious look at the new traynor amps... the Custom Special line... the combos have my interest!

Re: what will be your next amp??

I really don't need another amp. I currently own a 1968 Fender Super Reverb, and 1967 Fender Deluxe Reverb, A Marshall 900 50W 2 12" combo, a Bogner Shiva 1 12" EL34 and a Komet 60. Those amps pretty much cover everything I need to do.

If I were going to buy another, I would probably look at some Boutique amps or some vintage ones.

Re: what will be your next amp??

My Carvin's future is questionable at this point.

I'd really love to own a Mesa Express 5:25 or a Suhr OD-50. I'd take the Suhr first, though. ;)
