It's called a Tom Anderson H3. but yours would have too much output.

I don'tt know, more than likely every pickup tone I want you prob can already get. I would like to see a SD piezo for electircs that is if they don't already have one. I would like to see a pickup like the Distortion but a little less hot. Now I'm not up to par with after market pickups so there a things out there that I don't know about.

I'd like single coils in which the magnets could be changed, or removed and reversed easily (humbuckers are easy enough).
Fitted into sleeves of some sort, and all single coils with shields built around them. Also hot humbuckers that have tapped coils with 6 conductor cables, done in perhaps a 1/3 ... 2/3 tap of each coil for a variety of outputs and tones. Also to expand their soapbar and mini humbucker lines a bit more.

Agreed. I find alot of SD's similair in voicing, just with a different magnet and different EQ. I havent played too many, so im not exactly one to judge, but when going from stock to SD, the difference is there. When going from SD to SD, the difference is there, but not nearly emminant. A pickup with a more drastic voicing, like for example a Dimarzio or EMG, you will instantly here and a difference between switching out pickups of there line in the same guitar, and it will be more emminent than with duncans. Just my .02 cents, dont flame me, just hit ignore, I know you guys didnt like hearing that.Bones said:

Bach do you have links to the threads you had with pics of the Hybrids you made? I wasn't as brave back then and I am ready to try my first hybrid. Basically I have gone as far as taking everything off the baseplate short of removing the tape and unsoldering the coil wires from the 4 conductor wiring.

*thinks* more bass pickups - active bass pickups are dominated by EMG. dont get me wrong, i have+love the 35P and 35J, but the choice would be nice, as would a price war :dance:
also, +1 for the quick connect system - new-ish EMGs come with the sockets now, theyre good for 'the undecided' amongst us heh

The Jimmy Page set should be made available without having to go through the custom shop. It would eliminate the 3 month wait and offer the ability to buy them seperate or together.

They do sorta cover this in the Duncan-Turner Acoustic Research division. Take a look at the Solstice, Equinox and the Eclipse.
They also make the piezo pickups, but not specifically for solid-body electrics.

Someone already said it. I'll second it.
An APS I and APS II for Strat bridge pup that is wound hotter like the custom wound Antiquity I or II or 5-2 for bridge postion.
From what I've read here the Twnagbanger sort of fits that bill, but I don't particularly want my Strat to remind me of a Tele.
