What's a good source for buying Ibanez super 58s?

Re: What's a good source for buying Ibanez super 58s?

I've got a 77 2630 and to be absolutely honest, the best pups I EVER had in there (for my tastes) were a set of Super 70s. Thick, great cleans, decent power, nice eq with plenty of midrange. The worst pups it ever had were the stock Super 80s. Low wind+ceramic=glass shattering harsh.

Keep this on the DL...I had a set of EMG 85/81 in there and they sounded pretty effing good, as well. Guys rag on them all the time but at the end of the day, they clean up pretty well with the volume, the 85 is big and meaty in the bridge, and the 81 is articulate, if a bit middy, in the neck.

Right now it's got a set of PAF clones from RD in Ireland. They're nice but I haven't settled out on magnets, yet. I did RCA5, initially, and the bridge was thin so I went A2. I may stick the A5 back in the neck and go A8 on the bridge.

I just had a custom guitar belt. And I have Seymour Duncan alnico twos in it. The body of the guitar is chambered mahogany with a half inch maple. Seymour Duncan pick ups in it are flat with no sparkle or high and response, no character and no harmonic complexity. These pick ups are not a good match for this guitar.
Currently my Lusia is taking the super 58 out of my 1982 AR 305. Because I think that guitar sounds perfect but it weighs too much. So if those pick up sound correct in my new guitar, I will try to find a set of vintage super 58.
ON THE OTHER HAND Lollar Makes some of the best PAF copies out there. They’re not cheap but neither is a set of vintage super 58’s. The Lollar model that looks like it most closely matches the super 58 is the imperial low wind. It is basically a PAF that is lower power and has an increase brightness to the tone, perfect for darker toned guitars or guitars with a very dark sounding neck pick up. According to my luthier the best part of these pick ups is the sound you get with both pick ups driven which is nice and twangy.
I believe they’re about 175 bucks apiece.
Supposedly the DiMarzio PAF Are also very good but I’m looking for a lower power option. I play clean a lot and I have pedals if I need grind
