hi tube friends, ...
if i want to run an el34 hotter than rated, due to i like the sound,
what risk would that mean?
what could happen in worst case, despite broken tubes and fuses?
well, i currently do it and cool the powertubes with a fan.
the case is not getting warm since i installed the fan and nothing
unwanted inside the power tubes is starting to glow after 4 hrs
of bandpractice.
if you want to know it more detailed ... (in case i wasn't measuring s***)
at a anode current of 390V i measure .76V instead of max .65V on my
resistor
cheers
