HA!!Dr.Mavashi said:So I guess Marshalls, Mesas, Laneys, Soldanos, Peaveys, Engls, are for Britney Spears guitarist, I mean it's not like any half decent metal album was ever recorded with any of these.

Well it is vertical imput. I had an extra gain stage added so mine has four preamp tubes. I sent a Cd of 5 songs with tone I loved. It sounds sweet. Hot and nasty. I also wanted it to sound a little thicker, which it does. I also had a bottom control put on later when I sent it in for some work, (filter cap.)It does Judas Priest, Motley, Ratt, Van Halen really well. My only complaint is it could be a touch quieter. But it is a high gain amp, those make some noise. I can also get a clean enough sound using my guitar volume. Very responsive amp. Trace is a great guy and does excellent work.OlinMusic said:hmm interesting, joe
RECKLESS - tell us more about your Voodoo modded 800
80's and european power metal are a pretty narrow view of "metal".Dr.Mavashi said:well, lets if we are talking METAL that means 80s and some bands from Europe, like Stratovarious, EdGuy, Blind Gurandian along those lines other stuff requires different tone such as say Nightwish or Korn totally different
bands and tones but you can not say that they juss METAL, so with that in mind its:
Peavey 5150
JCM 800/Plexi
Mesa Duo
Laney AOR
