I picked Marshall. I had to randomly pick from Fender, Mesa, and Marshall cuz they all make such great amps. Can't say I've tried many others.

Hughes & Kettner. If you've been on the forums at all for the past year, you've heard me rave about them.
The logos themselves make me light up. At a glance, it says "German engineered perfection" in the style of the logo itself. It's see through styled cabinet shows a unique touch. There's nothing like playing in the dark and seeing those tubes provide all the light.
The tone. I doubt there will ever be an all tube amp that's as versatile or has as many options as this without sacrificing tone. 100w, 6 channels, 13 tubes and anything from the past to the present can be obtained. Vox, Fender, Marshall, Mesa is all in here (as well as their own take on the high gain channel in the path of Soldano and Bogner). Reverb, DI boxes, MIDI capability individual & easy fuse access and more.

GT12AX7M in the V1 position, 8 JJ ECC83S tubes, and 4 "Winged C" Svetlana EL-34s.
Big props to Gearjoneser for helping me pick out the tubes, they're awesome and truly help with the versatility of the amp.

peavey all the way... i love all there tube amps... i own a classic 50 that i love to death... and a rockmaster preamp and classic 50/50 power amp. can be very clean like the 50 but can rip your face off to...i love it... there products are the best bang for the buck imo.

As Gearjoneser can attest to, it's one of the finest amps you can buy. It has the best cleans I have EVER heard out of an amp. Runners up are the actual blackface Fender Twin and Deluxe Reverbs and the TopHat Club Deluxe.

that amp has the best distorted channel i have ever heard in myt life!!!! the cleans are freakin awesome too!!! i played a couple usa jacksons through that amp today and it was so beautiful!

Matchless DC-30 is my favorite amp of all time
but out of the amps that i can afford in my lifetime id say either the fender bassman or marshall JCM 900

Well, I couldn't be happier with my DSL50 right now, especially since I already have a Fender head sitting around for when I need the real smooth cleans.
Although, I must admit, that after playing a Bogner Ecstacy, I really want one. Just a great sounding amp. Little pricey though, so start saving pennies.

Those Hughes and Kettners sho are pretty! I think if I designed an amp, I would have used that plexiglass front too. So cool that you can see all the tubes glowing, especially in a dark rehearsal room. I didn't know that amp had tube retainers on every single tube.
I jumped through hoops, and worked financial feats of magic to get my 94 Bogner and 97 Matchless Chieftain. If I lost everything in life, those two pieces would be the last 2 things I'd sell.

Hard to pick one, but maybe fender for the sheer breadth of great amps they have produced over the years. There are so many different flavours of fender. I especially love tweed, blonde and brownface era models.
But basically all the major amp manufactures make at least one classic amp.
One overlooked amp: 60s era ampeg jet and reverberocket amps. Class A, with a weird pwer tube, but superb tone generators. Far better than the reissues. These amps are CHEAP secondhand compared to other handwired 60s amps.

Mesa boogie for punk rock, Marshall for classic Rock, Vox for cleans, Rivera (no ones mentioned it yet) are amazing both clean and also with lots of distortion. Peavey (I dont like the logo) and fender i consider average (too mainstream). :laugh2:
