I dont really have a fav brand. The amps I have cover everything i need.....but all those needs arent covered in one amp alone.
The amp I use most is my Harry Joyce.

my favorite amp of all time for distortion is the marshall JCM 800 2204.
I played my friends and instantly loved the sound. but for cleans i'd have to say and ADA MP-1 the clean is orgasmic on these preamps. run and A/B switch to both these amps and theres my rig once i get some money

There are so many good amps out there its hard to pick just one.
I own a Super Reverb that I bought in 1989
I own a Marshall 900 which I bout in 1990
I own a Carvin X60 that I bought in '92
I own a Deluxe Reverb that I bought last year
I own a Bogner Shiva that I bought last weekend.
As you can see I can't just pick one. For the last 10 years I have been A/Bing the Super with the Marshall to get all the tone I want/need. The Bogner should give me all I need I just haven't had enough time on it yet. So right now I would have to say Fender............. but I have a feeling my opinion will change in the next few months.

I voted Fender because of its overall versatility and beautiful cleans but I could've just as easily chosen Vox for its unparalleled clean tone, Marshall for its classic crunch or Bogner for its killer modern crunch. I love Mesa and own two of them but if I could afford it I'd own a vintage Marshall JCM800 and a Bogner Ecstacy.

I wish I could retract my vote...at the time I was still in honeymoon phase with my mesa/boogie...but now that I boil right down to it..Fender is where my tone is...no doubt about it

I voted "Fender" but basically I prefer an amp WITHOUT amp modelling. Does anyone else feel that an amp with amp modelling is about the dumbest idea ever? I just thought it sorta sounded like an oxymoron / "dumb blonde" design. Granted, yes, I know it has its uses, but it's annoying to me. No, I'm not hating or flaming.

VHT Pitbulls are THE ROCK amps. they are the coolest Marshall modded style amps i have played.
CAE OD100 in close second.
Old Marshall rock too. NOT the new stuff, i dont care what people say.
Liked the THD Univalve as well.
Would love to hear a Bogner again ( Heard one many years ago and cant remember the sound) plus a Splawn to hear what all the hype is about.
OH almost forgot i would love to hear a Mojave Peacmaker. Those have some really cool sounds.

I always wanted to go on tour with a wall of Gorilla cabs.
Never seen a cab with "other" on it. I may give them a try.

bogner shiva... this amp just flat out rocks! played the el-34 combo model.
did an a/b/c test with a marshall jcm800 with 4x12 greenbacks and a boogie f50 with a 2x12 ear candy cab.
the shiva was in a totally different league! just super juicy, sweet sustain! used a les paul with it.
with a strat, you can get pretty good srv tones from both the clean & dirty channels (although i never tried it, the 6L6 model might be better for this).
for cleans, my favorite is definitely the fender 59 bassman reisssue! sweeeeeeet!!!!! just add a keeley-modded ts-9 or a t-rex dual overdrive pedal and you're set!
it also helps if you jack the normal and bright channels together! bigger sound!
