Whats Your Pedal Board?

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

guitar->dunlop hendrix wah->boss graphic eq->dd3->noise supressor->amp

might get a sustainer and chorus soon too

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

I probably win for the most gluttonous board... A lot of my stuff is either self modded, self built, so self designed, so I have a bunch of pedals lying around. The ones on my board are the pedals that I found I've really liked.

Guitar -> Dunlop Volume Pedal -> Homemade TS808 clone with mods -> Homemade Vintage ProCo Rat with mods -> Homemade fuzz face with mods -> MAxon Compressor -> Boss GE-7 -> Modded Dunlop GCB-85 WAH -> Homemade Tremolo (I made up the circuit) -> Boss DD-3 -> Line6 Verbzilla -> Homemade Bypass Pedal -> Boss RC20XL. Plus, I have a 1.2A power supply that I built to power all of the effects.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

When my pedalboard is built it will contain the following:

Spina Modded Vox 847 Wah
Marshall ED1 Compressor or WOBO Buffer/Booster (to even out levels between Strats & LPs etc)
BOSS TU2 Tuner (to Tune)
Fulltone Fulldrive II (The blue 1, cos it's good :D)
G2D Custom Overdrive (it's 1 of the few gain pedals that I like the sound of on it's own)
Custom made WOBO 3 channel Looper with:
BOSS CE5 Chorus Ensemble and BOSS TR2 Tremolo - WOBO Loop A
EHX Small Stone Nano (set fast) and MXR Phase 90 (set slower) - WOBO Loop B
Ibanez Tone Lok DE7 Delay/Echo - WOBO Loop C
Fulltone Fat Boost (for volume boosts for solos)

My current pedalboard is exactly the same as above, minus the Looper and Small Stone Phaser :)

I may have some pics depending what pictures were taken from my bands recent recording sessions :)

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

Boss GE-7 EQ (for overdrive & solo boost)
Boss CE-3 Chorus
Boss BF-2 Flanger
Boss TR-2 Tremolo
(2) Rocktron Short Timer Delays (one for slap back, one for rhythmic Edge/Summers kinda stuff)
Boss Tuner (tuner routing button built into pedalboard)
DIY 9-volt supply

I'm thinking about building a small "annex" that will just contain my Cry Baby, my Rat, and a power supply - it could be used in addition to the big board, or just by itself.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

I might play through anything, but when I'm really going for tone:
[brackets indicate intended purchase]

Assorted Les Pauls into:

Original Thomas Ogan Company Crybaby Fuzz/Wah/Volume (wah, mainly) =>
MXR Micro amp (for the ultimate lead boost) =>
Stamps Drive-o-matic (two slightly different ocverdrives Lead/Rhythm) =>
TS-9 (for a slightly gritty sound) =>
Guyatone classic tremolo (fo a little Bo Mo Jo) =>
[Diaz tremodillo should replace that guyatoe when I find a good deal]=>
[AD-9 for a slight repeat/echo] =>
Holy Grail Reverb (for a little air)=>

Fender Pro Jr.

It's all pretty tasty....

Rich that is such a neat and clean lay out it's sick... I love the fact all the wires are soldered below the face plate of the box....

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

here's my board...

the board itself is a custom pumaboard with my own leopard material

the signal chain is....

Guitar...TU-2...OC-2...Whammy...Morley Tremonti wah...MI Tube Zone...MXR Flanger...Script phaser (bullseye)...ISP Decimator...AMP INPUT

in the loop are a Line 6 DL4 and my custom "hot rod" delay.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

guitar then:

1. Digitech Bad Monkey - everyone needs an overdrive, right?
2. Boss DS-1 Distortion - what can I say, great distortion pedal. and it's stock!
3. danelectro fab chorus - I don't care what you say, it does what I want it to
4. DOD FX75C Stereo Flanger - cause sometimes I want to get a little freaky

then amp

i'll probably get a tuner in the near future.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

I've got exactly one crapload of pedals, so my plan is to group them by style. Below is my current blues board. (I just tonight rearranged a few of the pedals, and haven't plugged everything back in. I use George L's for all connections between pedals, and run Monster Cables from my guitar to the board and from the board to my amp -- in this case, a Fender Super Reverb RI.)

Guitar > Teese RMC3 Wah > Boss BD-2 (Analog Man Super Mod) > Analog Man King of Tone V4 > Keeley Time Machine Boost > Boss TU-2 Tuner > Demeter Tremulator > Sweet Sound Mojo Vibe > Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeler > Amp

All pedals are powered by a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2.

I'm also considering throwing in my Analog Man Sun Face NKT-275 fuzz box. I have an Ibanez TS9 (Analog Man 808 Brown Mod), but I prefer to run that as a boost in front of a high-gain amp.

Here's a pic of the blues board:

well now that i see it , that's a lot of pedals :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

I'm currently building the actual pedalboard, but as far as my pedals go:

AMP: CGB-95 crybaby wah, BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus, BOSS NS-2 noise surpressor

LOOP: BOSS GE-7

Why? Wah to add some flavour to some solos, chorus (used 95% of the time on my cleans), noise surpressor for obvious reasons and the GE-7 for a lead boost.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

I reorganized my pedalboard yesterday. Some expensive stuff went to boxes and things became interesting. I play through amps like a Tweed Deluxe, to an El Diablo. I use LP's, Strats and teles (along with custom combo's of these). I play clean (country and Jazz) up to 80's rock stuff most of the time. So I need something to cover a bit of everything.

Guitar>535 wah>SD1>OD3>Silver Dragon>SFX-03>DD6>Reflector>ED1>amp

The expensive modded TS pedals and distortions have now been boxed, as I had not been using them. I had been messing with the various combos of pedals for a while and this really has been working for me. Surprisingly the BD2 is not there and the boutiques are not there. I could have saved a bit of money. I think the reason is the SFX-03 and how it works for me. I set the first side of it for more dirty country, the second channel is high gain lead tone (Santana -like) and the first channel of the Silver Dragon works for the Marshall Plexi-Tweed vibe rhythms. The SD1 and OD-3 can give things a push with one more traditionally TS voiced and the other more country voiced.

I have now moved these to this board.

I spent a couple hours messing around seeing if it works with the various rigs and it appears to be working great for me so far! So for a week I can bee a happy camper. Then ... GAS will strike again I am sure.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

Mine (currently) goes like this:

Guitar -> MXR Phase90 -> Boss DD-5 (900ms delay) -> CM Delayla (Slapback) -> Rocktron Tsunami -> Morley Tremonti Wah -> Boss DS-1 (Modded for sabbath like sound) -> DOD FX86B (for far out stuff) -> Marshall Jackhammer (Modded for JCM800 crunch) -> Boss BD-2 (use as booster to push front end) -> Amp.

Should be about it.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

Guitar -> Strobostomp -> OD808 -> NS-2 -> 5150.

Tuner = self explanatory, OD = necessary for my tone, NS-2 = self explanatory.

That said, none are on a board, and I don't play live, so the signal is really like...

Guitar -> LittleLabs Redeye out -> Firepod -> Redeye -> OD808 -> 5150 -> SM57 -> Firepod.
Redeye thru -> Strobostomp - > PODxt -> Firepod.

One nice, big loop.

Re: Whats Your Pedal Board?

Well, mine was Guitar -> Wah -> MXR Phase 90 -> MXR Wylde OD -> Tuner -> Amp. But now it's Guitar -> Tuner -> Amp. I just don't need to have the others there. If anything, I may end up keeping the wah in the chain but right now I don't need it there.

What does the Redeye do?
