Where does a NMD belong?

Re: Where does a NMD belong?

Technically 8, but functionally 4. And yeah, tuned like a violin.

I'm only a day in, but the tuned-in-fifths thing isn't nearly as big an adjustment as the sheer smallness of the thing. Even down low, everything is very close together. Makes me feel even clumsier than usual.

Thats real nice. I love Mando.

I went straight for the early 90s REM. I can already do a middling fair Losing My Religion. Well... NEARLY middling fair.

Yarp.

And, as of this morning, it looks like I'm not allowed to play it while the wife is home. Shame. I really dig it.

Eastman makes incredible instruments, especially Mandolins!

I have an Eastman E8D and for the price I have been extremely pleased!

Congrats and enjoy!

Tell her she should just be glad you didn't buy a banjo!

I agree on the smallness being the biggest adjustment. I'm a fair mandolin player, but I still feel really clumsy on it.
