Where to buy parts / electronics ???

Anyone have any suggestions other than Warmoth for getting parts online?

I'm not very happy with their shipping time/costs...

Depends what specifically you need. ACME Guitar Works is great for electronics. Wymore is great. RS Guitarworks is great. But some or none of these may apply to your needs.

I used to buy a lot of Gibson parts from Moreno's Guitar Clinic in Michigan. Stew Mac is also a great place. What exactly are you looking for? Sometimes nothing beats NOS.

I also like Guitar Parts Resource. Fast shipping and a really good selection of parts and electronics. They do a great ship with packing and shipping, too. They and StewMac get the majority of my business.

One thing that would be really cool is if we had a list of all the good places to get oddball parts. A lot of the places listed in this thread have fairly common parts and electronics. Guitar Electronics listed by ratherdashing has a some oddball switches... where are the websites with the crazy accessories, like knobs? I've seen guys with "piston" knobs, others with brass knobs, etc. A list of that stuff would be cool, too.

I usually order most of my stuff from John (Wymore Guitars) here on the forum. He's a super guy to deal with and has the best service I've exp. out of any of the guys listed above. I've ordered from all of them LOL.

I do have to admit that my next electronics order will go to RS guitarworks. I'm curious about their upgrade kits.

Yeah, RS GuitarWorks has some sweet electronics options... The vintage repro capacitors are tempting but a little pricey... I'm curious about the upgrade kits too... Let me know if you use one and I'll do the same...
