I'd say valvetronix combo if for bedroom use. You can get high gain lead tones and nice cleans too. Cheaper then buying some high wattage tube combo that will sound **** at low volumes. Either that or go for a small 5 watt combo although this will give you less options out of the box and u'll have to add pedals.

If we are thinking home, unless your home is more tolerant than mine, I woul dthink amps like a Tiny Terror. I rehoused a 5w supro (Gretch 6150) and with pedals it does a great job at volumes the family can deal with most of the time. There are times I still need an attenuator though to get a more tolerable home volume.
