This guitar looks a lot like mine, even the finish, though mine has a two peice top. I'm not familiar with the Shaw's but can assume they are 7-8K vintage style PAF's. They sure sound that way. I don't plan on swapping these as they sound really nice.

Thanks for the info Goldenboy. I was just curious and was hoping for a little info without pulling them out. Do you have any experience with the Shaw's? Just curious as to opinions on these pups. Thanks! Mike

I had an 81 goldtop Standard, that was a cool guitar- a bit heavy, and a bit bright, but it was an all out rock machine. I don't remember what it had for pickups, I do remember that it was a one piece body, a 3 piece top and a 3 piece maple neck. It also had the same tuners as on that guitar- I hated them.
