As i've said before: the tremonti is killer for metal, especially when using the integrated boost to make the notes really scream. It is full sounding, doesn't get piercing in the high-end and sounds very vocal. Great wah, and you'll never get lost in the mix with it.

i read in reviews that it has such a large sweep that going to much just sounds annoying, is this true?

the sweep is big yes, but not too wide. Wah is a matter of feeling imo. I think the sweep sounds great, but that's oppinion.

i also read about the morley that when playing with gain the boost should be all the way up, but then using it on clean is a problem cause you have to turn it all the way down.. is there any way around this?

i wouldn't turn up the gain boost all the way, but some level of boost is really cool for solos. It's really not a good idea using it on cleans since the boost will result in extra volume boost and not extra distortion as it would when using it under high gain. If you really need the wah on cleans that much then just turn off the boost,and you will still have a great sounding comfortable wah. If you play metal solos mostly then just turn up the boost and have fun.
