Not, knowing any better. To get Claptons Cocaine tone would one choose the SSL-1 or the APS-1?

SSL-1. Very similar to what Clapton used for that tune, although the pickups from the 50's,like EC used in Blackie, are a little weaker than the pickups from the early 60's like SRV used. Personally, I prefer the SSL-1 to the pickups from the 50's. Not so thin and plinky sounding as some of those from the 50's can be. Lew
