Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

You want more of a swiss army guitar get the Luke model
Lukather is a session man so he needs a Swiss army guitar more than you

I dig the Luke much more

but you will need to play a bunch cause ebmm is a bit over the board in good sounding axes
not as much as fender but not consistent like suhr

I think the Luke looks like something Fernandes would have made in the '80s. And I hate EMGs. So that's a guaranteed pup swap right out of the gate on an ugly guitar. :)

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

No, the Luke is 1-5/8" like everything else except the Petrucci model.

I'm just gonna give the Morse a go and see. I like to try different things.

My issue with my Albert Lee that I had a couple years ago wasn't ever really the nut width as much as it was just that the tone wasn't right for me. The whole guitar did feel kind of compact but it doesn't seem like the Morse is quite so small body-wise.

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

I am on the EB/MM forums too, and if I wasn't a working musician, I would probably own a lot more- they can get quite expensive.

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Good luck with going to the forum there and getting a non biased opinion
butch with all due respect man they do make great instruments but their attitude sucks

Try and test it if you don't believe me and ask a question about another brand or something compared to ebmm or something totally inocent as that and you'll get a reaming
in fact anything short of ebmm is god over there won't cut it for long

cheers

You're right about the bias on the EBMM forum. In fact, your thread can get locked or deleted for talking about other instrument manufacturers. Remember, that forum is run by the owner of the company and his employees. They have the right to do that.

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Butch they have a right to burn their whole establishment down if they want
I am a customer and their attitude sucks balls
ha get it??

Silly
anyway
it sounds like the CEO is a spoiled brat that micromanages
I don't even remember how many threads have come up and people talking about that their adversion is the narrow necks
and the CEO doesn't listen
truth be told the necks are more narrow than 1 5/8

They do make awesome guitars though
just make em more playable
I mean what kind of stats do they do that find most players want a more narrow neck??
There must be a reason that fender has 1 11/16 on all their super production models

if their artists want a narrow neck fine offer it for them and have the production model a bit more user friendly
geez

Lol

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Haha

You spent all week posting here in multiple threads (even starting a whole new thread) about how that forum is filled with fanatic cultists and the company has a horrible attitude, then skip back over there to kiss all their asses and you didn't think anyone would notice?

I didn't even mention anything you've said. No need. I think most of those guys have internet access....

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Damn, this thread has ogotten WAY off topic!

To the EBMM users out there...am I crazy or was a Floyd Rose an option at one time on a Morse???

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

Kissing ass is saying that I loved the Albert lee????
What I did on this forum as well???

Bro you are seriously disturbed

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

And you start off by saying haha??

Pathetic

But your young

Re: Who here had the EBMM Steve Morse model?

I deleted the thread over on the ebmm forum Uopt cause the fool ruined my thread over there on how much I loved the Albert lee and wanted to get feedback on the weight etc
so he 'told on me' on my views on ebmm
