Who's going to the LA Amp Show?

I've been to this thing just about every year since the beginning. It's the place where all the best amps, pedals, and boutique guitars can be seen and heard.

It looks like this year will be a good one. All the best names are listed.
If you're a southern Ca. guitar freak, there should be no excuse - just be there!

Post here if you're going Saturday or Sunday, Oct 3rd and 4th. By the way, who's representing Seymour Duncan? I see them listed.

I'm in southern california but since not one of my three amps is listed, then no, I won't be there.

No money and don't need a new amp right now anyway.

I love Lamp Shows. I love all kinds of Lamps, floor lamps, table lamps,desk lamps, and stained glass lamps. I love housewares in general. be sure to take pics, better yet, videos this time.

I looked up Milkman amps because I'd never heard of them. It looks like they offer several models for pedal steel players.

I looked up Milkman amps because I'd never heard of them. It looks like they offer several models for pedal steel players.

They have three pedal steel amps, one for steel and guitar, and three smaller guitar amps.

John Mayer actually just switched to his Pedal Steel amp, which is basically a seriously modded Twin.

The amp of his I really want is the Creamer, 20watt, 6v6 deluxe platform.

I'll probably be there Saturday or Sunday.

Friday I'll be at MCAS Miramar and Saturday night I'll be watching the Scorpions at the forum. Fighter jets, amps, and Ze Skorpions it's gonna be a hellaciously loud weekend.

Still not going, but did take delivery of a brand new LA MP today. Its has one knob and brightness control. Its awesome.

I'm spending my Friday evening plugging into all my amps, getting my ear tuned into each of them so when I hear a hundred amps this weekend, I'll have a good frame of reference of what I'm used to.

These shows are the ultimate tonal adventure. Having everything set up in hotel rooms makes it more intimate than overblown shows like NAMM. It's really for fans of great amplifiers, boutique/classic guitars, plus accessories.
