cant back this up, but the gibson P-94's seem nice
(nick valensi from the strokes uses them and i really like
his sound, although the fact he plays epi riviera semi's will have
a big bearing on his sound)
i got the GFS mean 90s and they sound pretty nice for the buck
in my epi goldtop LP
(again i can compare to anything as they are all i've tried)
