Why do Ibanez has to do tha mess??

Hi Dudes ... i know you are tired of reading my ****ing Ibanez Guitar related posts ... but plz this time is diferrent ... look wut a found over the web ... :

Ibanez RG 1520GK : DOUBLE EDGE PRO
FOR ROLAND GK --> The Roland®GK system, featured on the RG1520GK, gives the player total synthesizer control in a sleek package. The model uses special piezo pickups to drive the Roland®GK system. The piezo pickups provide the ultimate in accuracy when triggering a synth system.

Thats all about the RG1520GK ... its a Prestige RG with a kind of Special Double Edge Pro Bridge System ... I Don´t know wut this is all about ... so plz explain to me .... And BTW wuts os a Piezo Pickup (Its that something related to acoustic ?? ... Wut it does exctly in this case ...) ... THX

And finally .... thats the guitar with the GK Synth ... but there is another one that kinda freaks me out .... RG1620X ... It says:

Double Edge Pro Bridge : The Double Edge Pro allows brilliant acoustic-style tones. Piezos by L.R. Baggs are isolated to eliminate palm noise.

Does that bridge turns the guitar in full acoustic ?? Or just a little bright tones ... but wont it be to harsh or bright .. ?? WUT THE **** IS THAT DUDES .... IM GETTING CRAZY :yell: ... and about wut about the GK Bridge above ??

Does anyone tryed these guitars ... how they feel ?? .... are the bridges good for dive - bombing etc ... ? THX POST UR OPNIONS PLZ ... THX AGAIN

Sorry for the HUGE :) ... plz help me guys ....

Just your luck, I have a Roland VGA3 which is a modeling amp meant to be used with the GK pickups.

The Roland VGA3, 5, and 7 are all modeling amps, like the Line 6 series. They also have a second feature on the amp. You can model different guitars. But to access that option, you have to buy the GK pickups. Luckily that Ibanez comes with them. But if you buy that guitar, and do not have a Roland VGA amplifier, then they wont work with any other amp, they'll work as a regular pickup.

I've played a guitar with the GK pickups through my Roland VGA3. It wouldnt be worht your money. I didn't like it at all, and the guiar doesn't always recognize notes you play. I definitly WOULD NOT reccomend it.

Evan wonders out loud.... wouldn't it be great if Ibanez guitars came stock with Seymour Duncan pickups....?

Re: Why do Ibanez has to do tha mess??

Evan, after swapping out the pickups in my 570 and 550, yes, I do have to wonder.

Of course, I still wind the single coils myself, but the JB in the 550 and custom in the 570 sound great, plus the Jazz in the necks are amazing.

I'm looking to maybe buy another 550 or 570, just so I can play around with some more pickup choices. Like, maybe a P90 in the neck? :)

Yes, sir, it would. Ibanez stocks are the absolute sh*ttiest pickups ever made, and DiMarzios just don't have enough meat.

Of course, the upside for Seymour is, everytime one of us buys an Ibanez guitar, he sells another set of pickups :)

True story. I'm an RG Distortion/Jazz abuser myself :burnout:

Complete sentences and punctuation would probably get you more response. Translating a flurry of abreviated words into random thoughts isn't my idea of a good time.
