Does someone knows what wire Suhr use on his pickups?

From this photo I think Suhr use poly wire. Do you confirm? :scratchch

Who cares ???????

My DSV+ sounds amazing that's all that matters. :friday:

Re: Wire in Suhr pickups

They're far cheaper than Duncans.. why not just buy one ?

The build quality is also better than the Duncans I've installed for students recently.

Sad but true.

I ordered a Custom Custom 3 weeks ago... it didn't work at all.

Was replaced by the dealer, the 2nd one had all the internal coil wires exposed.

Ordered a JB for another, only one coil was functioning.

As I said, poor build quality. :scratchch

I've been installing an average of fifty sets per year for the last thirteen years of Duncan p'ups alone and I still have to see one that didn't work.

Have you ever considered you've been cursed...? I don't have another explanation for what you're saying... unless you've been given tampered-with p'ups.

Hmmm - in the US, Suhr is more expensive than Duncans. Both fine products. Street price (no effort to really search) is $96 for a Suhr SSH+ and a Duncan Distortion $70. Must be a dealer/tax thing.

Never had a problem with a Duncan pickup that I did not directly cause.

In Italy too. I can buy a "normal" humbucker SD (not antiquity) for 75-80 €, while Suhr hb cost 100 €.

Re: Wire in Suhr pickups

The duncans i bought were from 2 different dealers. They handled the refunds without issue so no complaints there. I paid £77 for the last one but only £65 for the suhr humbucker and just paid £60 for a suhr single coil inc delivery. I've got and have fitted loads of duncans over the years, only recently was i disappointed.
