I've been winding my own pickups for awhile now and I really enjoy it, I also enjoy being able to reproduce the sound of any pickup without having to pay boutique prices. Well times are a bit rough right now and money is tight so I figured I would try and sell one of my favorite sounding pickups.
This is a vintage correct 1959 single coil replica.
Output: Vintage
DC Resistance: 6.08
Magnet: Alnico V
Magnet Orientation: South
Wire: Scatterwound with 7,986 turns of 42AWG Heavy Formvar
I'm only asking $45 + shipping... I dont believe in paying boutique prices, only boutique quality.
Interesting Note: This is actually a clone of SRV's neck pickup (My favorite strat tone) and believe me, you can nail that tone with some heavy gauge strings and a cranked twin reverb! They are much more versatile than just SRV though.
