It's worth a shot I suppose. The cracks in the body look to me to be the result of drying out. I wonder if there is an easy way to fill them?

I don't know, I like the grain on that body, and if it could be salvaged and made structurally sound, I'd do it just for s&g.

I'd give it a go with some clear resin with filler added. It would be fun to get that working. There are worse-looking guitars out there that work fine. I'd watch ebay for inexpensive parts.
